Strides Against Stigma Logo Black and Blue FontTake strides against the stigma surrounding mental health! Strides Against Stigma™ is an event to raise awareness about the impact of depression and bipolar disorder and demonstrate that families are not alone on their path to wellness.

Please join us on Saturday, May 20, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in Waltham, MA, for Families for Depression Awareness’ 2023 Strides Against Stigma walk event. We will gather at the Waltham Common in the gazebo located at 610 Main Street, Waltham, MA*. You’ll hear one of our amazing Peer Storytellers share their experience and learn about our mission, then step out to take strides against stigma!

Order your shirt by May 6, 2023 to receive it in time for the walk. By purchasing a shirt, you’ll support Families for Depression Awareness’ mission and spread awareness about eliminating stigma.

Participate Nationally!

Can’t join us in person? No worries! You can still purchase a shirt and send us a photo of you wearing it. Send your photo by May 19, 2023 and you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $15 Amazon gift card (3 winners will be selected). Get an extra entry if you tag us on Instagram with your photo by May 31, 2023 and include #StridesAgainstStigma so we can find your post. Submit your photo to Programs Manager Arielle Cohen at ari@familyaware.org.
