Waltham, MA — Nonprofit Families for Depression Awareness is proud to welcome Representative Joe Kennedy III as a featured speaker at the organization’s annual “Evening of Hope and Discovery,” on October 21, 2022, at the Grand View Farm in Burlington, Massachusetts, 6:00-8:00pm.

Rep. Kennedy has dedicated his career to social and economic justice. A former Congressman, legal aid volunteer, and assistant district attorney, he founded Groundwork Project to address pervasive disparities in the American political system. Among his achievements as the U.S. Representative for Massachusetts’s 4th congressional district, he spearheaded bipartisan efforts to extend mental health coverage for children and pregnant women. At the event, Kennedy will share his personal stories and connection to the mental health cause.
