Jennifer FerrisJennifer Ferris is no stranger to the helplessness and hopelessness that suffering from depression can cause. She struggled with depression starting at the young age of eight, but it was not until her mid-twenties that Jennifer was diagnosed with major depression and began to receive treatment.

Today, Jennifer is using her experiences to help build awareness. She is a volunteer with Families for Depression Awareness and shares her story to help others dealing with depression.

As the current reigning Ms. New York World International, Jennifer has had the opportunity to share her platform of awareness and education with the state of New York. Starting on August 5, 2012, Jennifer will have an even bigger audience as she competes for the title of Ms. World International in Puerto Rico.

Join us on Saturday, July 28, 2012 as we show our support and wish Jennifer the best of luck in Puerto Rico.

Jennifer and her family will host a send off party and fundraiser at Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery (Warwick, NY). Proceeds will benefit Families for Depression Awareness.
