The MetroWest Daily News recently featured an article on one of Strides Against Stigma’s top fundraisers, Dan Fields. Dan, who we blogged about last week, has already exceeded his original fundraising goal of $2000 and now aims to reach $2500 in the next 30 days. The article quotes Dan saying that one of his goals in advocating for mental health awareness is to “let people know it’s OK to ask for help. It’s a sign of strength to do so.”
You can watch a video of Dan talking about why he supports Strides Against Stigma.
Join Dan in striding toward helping people get the mental health care they need without fear of social stigma. You can help Dan reach his new goal of $2500 by donating here and don’t forget to register for the event April 28th at BU’s Nickerson Field.
