Sweeet! Baking for Healthy Minds Bake Sale
After losing her eighteen year old son Michael to suicide in 2005, Barbara is spreading the word on teenage depression and helping to spare other families the heartache she has experienced. In an effort to raise awareness, Barbara held a Sweeet! Baking for Healthy Minds bake sale to benefit Families for Depression Awareness at a local high school flea market. Together with her daughter and niece, they raised over $400, which means over 400 Parent and Teen Depression/Bipolar Wellness Guides will be distributed to high schools!
